However there are some general guidelines to follow when thinking about using gobos for your special day. The most important thing to remember is that, like every other projector, it works much better in a darker environment. If it is lighter in the area you are going to need to use a higher powered gobo projector and that will lead to higher equipment costs, higher power usage and a larger item.
Most wedding gobos will be in an inside setting and fairly dark, therefore a small gobo projector should be perfect. If you would like something a little more advanced, you may need to go a different route. The more color that is included in the design, the more light the gobo takes out. Therefore, you would need more power to push that color through to give off the right effect that is what you want to see.
